One of a kind, handcrafted, alternating brass & sterling silver layered earrings with sterling ear wires that are 4.25 inches long with stones of ethically sourced, faceted ruby sapphire  and emeralds. They are intricately stamped & I sawed the backs out so the sun can shine through & illuminate the beautiful, natural colors.

Please note that the earrings are complimentary & not the same; the sterling & brass are inverse on each pair.

 I like to make my pieces antique looking and what I do to achieve this is once I have finished with all of the polishing steps I warm up water and scrub the metal with soap and a brass brush. Once it is clean I dip them in a hot solution of sulfur, which patinas or blackens the metal. Once it is a good and black color I remove the metal and dip it it in a bath of warm water and baking soda. I rinse this off and then I tumble all of the pieces overnight in a tumbler and when I remove it in the morning all of the indentations remain black and the top part looks antiqued. Then it’s time to set the beautiful stones! My favorite part.
